The Museum Industriekultur Osnabrück has its own bus stop called “Industriemuseum”, which is only a few metres away from the Haseschacht Building.
Bus lines 18 and 520 (Osnabrück/Hollage) stop there.
To visit the special exhibitions in the warehouse building, we recommend getting off at the “Süberweg” stop on the same line.
Accessibility at the Museum Industriekultur
The museum is only partially accessible. However, we are continuously working to improve the conditions in our museum and to make the visit as pleasant and informative as possible for everyone. Please note, however, that due to historical or structural limitations, not all areas can be made fully accessible.
The main entrance to the Haseschacht Building, where we present our permanent exhibition, is not accessible. Please contact us in advance or upon arrival by telephone or email so that our team can provide you with accessible access through the side entrance. A lift makes it easier to explore the museum, but unfortunately the Hasestollen and the Fledermauskeller are not fully accessible.

Photography and filming at the MIK and on our premises
Would you like to take photographs or shoot a film at the MIK Museum of Industrial Culture in Osnabrück or on our premises? That’s great! To ensure that everything runs smoothly, we have compiled a list of your most frequently asked questions here:
Photography and filming of our exhibitions and buildings is permitted for private purposes (including flash and tripods). To protect the bats in the Hasestollen (Hase tunnel), photography with flash is prohibited there from October to March.
Please note any further exceptions. You will find relevant information in the exhibition rooms.
No prior registration is required for individuals taking photographs or filming without additional equipment. The private, non-commercial publication of images and videos online does not require prior consultation with the MIK. Please observe data protection regulations and the image rights of any persons affected. We ask that you name the MIK as the location where the photographs or videos were taken.
The MIK charges an individual fee for photo shoots in the museum and on the museum grounds at Fürstenauer Weg and Süberweg, depending on the type and scope of the shoot. Where possible, the MIK Museum of Industrial Culture should be named as the location in any publications.

Photography or filming involving vehicles on our premises requires special coordination: please always notify us in advance and obtain permission, as children are often present on the private museum grounds and events are frequently held there. Commercial photography is subject to a fee, which is determined in advance by the MIK depending on the scope of the photography.
If you are planning a photography course or similar event at our premises, this must be requested in advance and approved by the MIK. For commercial events with a participation fee, the MIK will also charge a fee.
